I've only checked the first page for a 'The Big C' thread and couldn't find one so sorry if there is already one running.

I seem to have missed a couple of episodes and was wondering if anyone could tell me the background to the baby storyline please?

She just decided she wanted another baby after doing some therapy type stuff with Susan Sarandon, realising that was her happiest time
Adoption authorities told her to come back when she was cancer free
The couple who are interested in giving them their baby, they got in touch through the husbands blog

So how come the couple are giving away their baby?

Oh-they both just knew they never wanted children and it was an accident
There was a reference to persuasion from their families though, so that could come into it later
