Am I the only saddo absorbed in this tosh. Just a cosy, nonsense part of my Sunday evening. Wonder how many more 22 parters they can squeeze from concept though...
Been quite exciting lately!

I don't watch this but wanted to come on and say my Dd, 16 is completely obsessed with it! She's tried to explain to me what is going on and who is who but its so complicated if you have not watched it from the start.
You are not alone op... She whips the Tv over after Top Gear and watches it on plus 1...

diddl · 05/08/2013 08:31

I love it too! I've watched to the end of the seriesBlush Love Robert Carlyle in it. Hope not too many series to go, though!

FadedSapphire · 05/08/2013 08:35

Glad not alone. I am over 30 years older than your dd though Siezethenight.. Blush.

Captain Hook! Need I say any more? Grin

FadedSapphire · 05/08/2013 09:49

Take Captain Hook over Prince Charming any day...

Love it!

FadedSapphire · 05/08/2013 09:55

Is there yet another series after this one?

worldgonecrazy · 05/08/2013 09:58

We are big fans of it. Though I think for anyone trying to watch from part way through this series, it would be a tad confusing. I only knew what was going on last night because I'd read the plot summary beforehand.

You can't have Captain Hook because he's mine.

FadedSapphire · 05/08/2013 09:58

Just googled.
Exciting Autumn coming up!

We got into it over christmas and have been recording it - have about 30 episodes to watch! I love it though and am going to try and get the dcs into it.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 05/08/2013 11:25

I love it too (I was on the old thread, but it's fizzled out). I've been away, so have just caught up.

Last night's was a bit confusing though, with all the jumping backwards and forwards. I had to read the summary afterwards to make sure I hadn't missed something!

I'd probably go for Aurora's prince (Philip is it?). Oh, and Tom Ellis is in it at some point this series, so that's something else to look forward to!

PortBlacksandBucketAndSpade · 05/08/2013 15:49

Have also watched since the beginning and agree last few episodes have livened things up a bit. It was getting a bit painful for a while.

Prince Charming woefully miscast.

RC's acting really shows the other lot up. Would like to see Hook in it again - purely to push the story along Grin

Think DH has a thing for Regina.

Is the girl who plays the young snow just a very good lookylikey or do they do some clever tv trickery and put snow's face over hers? I can't decide.

PortBlacksandBucketAndSpade · 05/08/2013 15:53

I don't know if they are going for a third series but i'm pretty sure they are doing a similar thing with Alice In wonderland now too.

INeedSomeHelp · 05/08/2013 15:53

I love it. Still have last night's to watch. I think it's so clever the way they build the characters into it. Can't wait to see what else they come up with.

INeedSomeHelp · 05/08/2013 16:12

Oh and when you found out who Gold's son is - I never saw that coming (maybe I'm just a bit thick )

Dfg15 · 05/08/2013 16:34

I love it, have watched from the beginning and am completely hooked. I wondered that about young Snow, but have just googled and she's a 12 year old actress called Bailee Madison

PortBlacksandBucketAndSpade · 05/08/2013 16:41

Ah yes i see she is a very good lookalike.

Nice to see Jim from neighbours and Mrs Patmore too Grin

FadedSapphire · 05/08/2013 16:44

I try and get the kids to bed, banish dh [who is happy to disappear], glass of wine, chocolate and lovely Once upon a time tosh...

Not so here - it's just about the only prog all four of us sit down to watch each week - how sad is that? (DSs 12 & 10) DS2 can do a fantastic Henry impression - "Itsh in du shhtoreee"

I am planning on moving to StoryBrooke and opening a false eyelash shop - i think i'd be quids in.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 05/08/2013 18:46

Grin and that raspberry lipstick all the men seem to favour...

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 05/08/2013 18:49

Ooh, this sounds pretty good too.

PortBlacksandBucketAndSpade · 05/08/2013 20:00

polkadots - it does, doesn't it. I wonder if that means this is the last series of ouat....

And yy to strange pink lippy men .... like Jack Whitehall

cocolepew · 05/08/2013 20:04

My 15 yr old DD is obsessed with this. I had to cut her hair like Gennifer Goodwins this morning.
Does anyone know if the spin off will be shown on British TV?

INeedSomeHelp · 05/08/2013 20:10

I really hope it is coco - looks really good. And I loce Gennifer Goodwin's hair.
