I use a sock on my hoover end. And I fold my toels a certain way. And all my linen is sorted in to bed sets. And my cosmetics cupboard is sorted in to sections.

My skirting boards have half an inch of dust on them though and I haven't mopped the kitchen floor in a week.
I like her. Blush

bramblina · 07/06/2006 20:29

No she doesn't have kids, she tried allsorts and failed so I really feel foe her there. Her hubby has 3 girls though.

nicnack2 · 07/06/2006 20:29

she has step children.

sugarfree · 07/06/2006 20:30

If you put a sock on your hoover end,how on earth do you get all the lego to go up?

nicnack2 · 07/06/2006 20:31

wernt they both house hunting for a house in Dubui recently. Now i cold manage to do my housework there Grin

Caligula · 07/06/2006 20:36

I lost all respect for her housekeeping abilities when I heard she has a cleaner 4 times a week.

Well my house would be immaculate and my towels all folded if I had a cleaner 4 times a week as well.

Blossomhill · 07/06/2006 20:38

have to say when i saw the programme it was how i imagine cod's house to be Grin

bree vanderkamp eat your heart out

infact made me look around for dust around my lights and things Blush

nicnack2 · 07/06/2006 20:45

well my house is immaculate. between the hours of darkness and sunrise, oh and when i am investigating my eyelids. :)

Caligula · 07/06/2006 20:59

Yes she does make Bree look like a slacker

MadamePlatypus · 08/06/2006 10:34

So do you think that she actually labels her pots of scissors "scissors" in case she forgets what they are, or is it the production team?

The towel folding thing is really good though - I do it before MIL comes to freak her out.

satine · 08/06/2006 10:38

Did anyone else watch the second Desparate Housewives last night? If not, don't read on, bit of a spoiler...

I just loved the way that Bree packed a bag and booked herself into the psychiatric hospital for a nervous breakdown. She is a legend.
And I thought her feckless daughter could have been even a little supportive of her mum.

Hollyboo · 08/06/2006 11:01

Satine we're(Ireland) one week ahead of that episode. Next episode is even better.

Hollyboo · 08/06/2006 11:02

Meant to add about Anthea's bra and knicker sets, does she really match them and put them in a clear plastic pencil case thingy?

oliveoil · 08/06/2006 11:07

I won't have a word said against AT, I think she comes across really well on the programme, as if she is taking the piss.

Reckon she would be nice in RL.

So stop being mean.

I draw the line at folding my towels in the shape of a turtle however.

PinkTulips · 08/06/2006 11:08

i find it useful for shutting dp up. i'm pregnant and nesting and he's constantly complaining about me cleaning and calling me obsessive and mad. i sat him down to watch anthea the other night and his jaw hit the floor, he hasn't bitched about my cleaning since, i think he's finally realised how much worse he could have it Wink

sugarfree · 08/06/2006 11:10

Intrigued at the idea of folding towels into a turtle shape.

surprise · 08/06/2006 15:24

Went to a new friend's house the other day for the first time. she likes to vaccuum the carpets just before her DP gets home from work, so he can still see the hoover lines in the carpets Shock Shock. I really think there are more important things than stressing over having an immaculate house.
