luther - i missed series 1 and 2...

thinking of getting them on dvd as watched series 3 and really enjoying it but am a bit clueless with regard the ongoing plot lines.....

is it worth it? have i missed much?

Am saving series 3 until I've watched 1 and 2. Am part way through series 1 so far and am enjoying it. No idea whether you've missed much because I don't know how much of the plot continues through the next 2 series.

Yes get them they are awesome, one of the characters are returning soon from his past as well so you will enjoy learning the history behind that. Cant wait until a certain lady comes back next week!

They are on Netflix at the moment. I've just watched both series and really enjoyed them.
