Why are there so many programmes on the tv this week about this pair? Is it an anniversary or something or has he finally done us all a favour and died?

It's 50 years since their first murder. I I think it was 12th July. They killed Pauline Reade in 1963. She'd be 66 now.

Thanks it only feels like yesterday. Even with today's insights I'm not sure anyone can rationalise what they did
