Why doesn't Nicky Campbell put his arm round her? Angry

Thisisaeuphemism · 15/07/2013 21:16

I usually hate this kind of thing but I love it. Blub every week and blubbing now.

RalphGnu · 15/07/2013 21:16

I wondered that too. My heart's broken for them both. Sad

Hard job, with happiness at the end.

Sparklingbrook · 15/07/2013 21:21

Davina is far more warm.

squoosh · 15/07/2013 21:24

I'd far prefer a visit from Davina, Nicky is a bit full of his own self importance.

MissStrawberry · 15/07/2013 21:26

I watch every week. I cry every week. I long every week for a family of my own.

centralmum · 15/07/2013 21:42

I sob every week also. Huge sobbing tears.

RalphGnu · 15/07/2013 21:44

Oh, Miss. Sad

I can't believe you think Nicky cold......I think he pitches it just right.....non intrusive and hugely empathetic.

I sob sob sob at this show.

Dippyeggsrock · 15/07/2013 21:48

I found my family and it was not a happy ending-have to admit am recording this weeks programme but it annoys me how it's only the happy all's well that end's well stories on and never the negative stories!

centralmum · 15/07/2013 21:50

Are they all positive stories though? We get the reunion and an update usually about 1-2 months later but I do genuinely wonder how many make it to 6 months and beyond n

MissStrawberry · 15/07/2013 21:57

IIRC there has been times where someone hasn't wanted to be part of the programme and a reunion.

I am sorry too, miemohrs, that you are without a family.

FruOla · 16/07/2013 15:57

I always watch LLF every week sobbing my heart out. I'm adopted, but not yet met my birth mother (if I ever will - who knows?).

Robert and his BM, in Australia, was so, so tragic. But what a great guy he was, even before he knew why, to have accepted that she had to leave for some serious reason. He looked like a lovely husband and lovely grandad to his own family.

And the two sets of twins. When my adoptive parents were going to adopt me, they were originally matched with twin boys. But for whatever reason, that didn't happen and they got me instead. When the programme talked about twin boys, I thought it might have been them - but the guys on the programme are younger than I am.

I sometimes think about those twin 'boys' who are now men the same age as me, +/- a month. Were they adopted together? Were they happy? Where are they now?
