I'm new to Luther and need help.

I'm not new to the beauty of Idris though. Grin I watched Luther today and was bloody terrified and it was 1pm! I just need to know, is he a good or bad cop? Did he tell the girls father on purpose so he could get rid of his finger print? Sorry I don't know Luthers back story.

Yes he is good. He doesn't follow normal procedures but he always does the right thing.

He is essentially good-though does things maybe in a not so good way...!

Difficult back story of wife being killed by friend/colleague & setting him up as well as a strange embroilment with a psychopathic woman!

Re: the chap & the fingers, I think Luther empathised with him and would have done the same thing ie killed the troll and that is why he tipped him off-though I doubt he thought that the guy would blend his own fingers off!

You are 100% right though-Idris Alba is fucking hot and I so would...! :o

I've heard he's very down to earth in real life as well. Jesus, he's georgious isn't he? I must watch The Wire one of these days.

Basically he is 'good' but has found himself in trouble for following his own code of honour. He's covered up a self defence murder in the last series which is now being investigated etc

He's also been known to disregard procedures- all for the greater good but technically he could/ should be at best kicked out of the force, and quite easily prosecuted.
He's like a superhero. Little people just don't get him. Grin

And yes, he is bloody gorgeous.

Watch the second series it's starting on Alibi channel on Thursday, it should help you catch up a bit and get the feel of the show.

I love Idris Elba, saw him being interviewed on some show, can't remember what it was and apparently he djs in clubs alsoGrin I'm too old for clubs Sad
