The game really revolves around menatl toughness and capacity and Lisicki often plays better when she is behind and is the underdog and when the mental pressure of being favourite is lifted from her, so she may play more fluently and confidently now, but she is up against Barto who is a mental machine and uses the Bartoli Bop to remain mentally focused, so I think Barto will still win out in the end.

Can anyone tell me why the audience now slow handclaps the use of Hawkeye? Is that what they are doing?

It seems terribly rude- and Hawkeye is so much better than the rants we used to get from McEnroe.

I am not sure, but I don't think the slow handcaps are negative, they are just to increase the drama and excitement of the verdict.

It's weltering there, must faze them a bit. Lipstiki looks so pretty, needs to machine-up a bit

The slow handclaps are something relatively new- I started watching Wimbers in 1973 and the audience used to be dead quiet even during Macs outbursts- this slow clapping gets on my nerves.

I don't think they are negative, it is just to build the excitement. They do the same with pending decisions on wickets at the cricket.

Officially it was 25.6C at 2pm but I think it will have climbed another degree or so and of course it's a complete sun trap in there.

It is going to be 2-3c hotter tomorrow because the day will be starting cloudless and temps will climb faster. I think it will top 30C.
