Dexter starts for the very last time next Sunday :(

blondes wails :(

I absolutely love sexter dexter and cant think how will end, unless he dies :( as will always want to kill but only bad people who deserve it

I'm excited, I just discovered Dexter recently courtesy of Netflix and watched all the series in about six weeks I think.

The Sky Plus has already been set for Sunday.

Yah. There are other sexter dexter lovers out there :)

He has to die as otherwise will always want to kill

Can't see debs killing him as she won't be able to suffer the guilt

So not sure what will happen

All his lovers have died :( he killed 2 of them and obv love of his life (wife) for murdered by trinity :(

I'm just about to watch season 7. He will have to get caught?! Music as a narrator in that trailer would suggest he gets caught what you've done in the dark will be brought to the light....

I see from the trailer that Debs is still a mess, she's the most whingy person on TV, she's always on the brink of tears.

LOL! MrsDinklage I don't really love this show so I don't mind that I get some spoilers.

I groan the whole way through this if I'm honest, the blatant sexism, how weak the female characters are, how Dexter has remained at large, how all Debs relationships blow up in her face. How creepy the other lab guy is freaks me a bit too!

My favourite season was the one with Jonny Lee Miller and Lumen, I liked Lumen, I'd love her to come back.

I'd also disagree Rita was the love of his life. She was just awful and needy and he is/was too. They filled the needy in each other but their relationship was more a going through the motions to cover up how fucked up they are!!!

I really don't like this show, do I?!

HighBrows - I agree Rita was a cover for his behaviour, she didn't know him or understand him - as for Lumen - she was brilliant ! And Crazy girl in s7 - he is actually scared of her

I knew Debs wasn't right when she said a whole sentence without swearing. (In fact there is a debsmorgan on here and she doesn't swear - do you think it could be an alias ?)

Oh god I'd forgotten about Debs swearing... It's desperate. I swear but seriously Debs swearing is beyond the pale! .

I must look out for the other DebsMorgan on here!!!

And - what about Jimmy Smits - he certainly piled on the pounds since the NYPD Blue days (showing my age - but who cares)

Lila - there was another great character - shame about the stupid accent they made her do - didn't they realise her British Accent was genuine

I'm really hoping Chuck's girlfriend is back in this season (mixing up my shows but I always get really excited when there are characters I recognise from other TV shows). Dexter was scared of her, because he couldn't trust her and he never knew if she was going to put something special in his dinner.

But he's going to have to die isn't he? I don't want Dexter to die, he can come and hide out with me, I live in the middle of nowhere, he'd never be found here.

I actually love Debs, I don't think she's a weak person, but she lacks self esteem, which is a result of her father's attention on Dexter. But I don't know how she is going to cope in this season after what she did at the end of season 7, I don't think she'll be able to live with the guilt.

I thought Rita was pathetic, she really used to grind on me, she had a pathetic voice and whined, she was just Dexter's cover to make him appear normal because that's what his dad had told him he needed.

I'd love Lumen to come back, that was my favourite season, but I'm a big Johnny Lee Miller fan anyhow, I've enjoyed his Sherlock Holmes series he did this year with Lucy Lui (which I can't remember the name of right now).

I've watched far too much of this programme in the last few weeks, but it completely drew me in from the first episode.

I love Dexter!

I'm really hoping he doesn't die but can't see how they'd end it otherwise, him just getting caught and thrown in prison would be a bit if an anti-climax.

I know that Hannah is coming back thus season but I actually didn't like her much, I just thought the character was a bit one-dimensional.

I loved Lumen though, I thought she had the right balance of understanding Dexter's need to kill and her own while still managing to be human and likeable.

Can't wait until Sunday!

Yes, they have cleaned up Debs' swearing a bit.

They don't give Vince nearly enough dodgy lines any more.

Alicia I loved Elementary, it was so good and Jonny/Johnny Lee Miller is delicious.

Vince gives me the creeps... and not with envy.

I'm starting season 7 tonight and season 8 is in the planner, another series to tick off my box !

I think Harrison may start to show signs of having some of Dexter's traits - he's older in the trailers.
I wonder what will happen with Angel? He's my favourite character after Dexter.

Vince was my favourite character. I really miss his incredibly off-colour jokes and his snigger. Even though he's a horrible creep I feel sorry for his desperation to be liked.

I suppose if you're going to have a show about a likeable serial killer it's nothing to have a sex-pest in it too.
