Why do they have to be so effing loud.FFS?

Especially those ones with the high pitched whiney sounds in them. They reverberate round the house and will wake the whole bl@@dy street up, never mind ds.

Arrrrgggghhhhh.

oh im glad its not just me. How sick i get of adjusting the volume up and down in between programmes. You would think with todays technology the televisions would be fitted with a volume adjuster to keep it at one level. AND its even worse when you are watching a bit of telly in bed to send you off to sleep (question time) for instance and its all ok until they start bloody clapping and you are poking around in the dark looking for the controls before the old man starts moaning about it
