Yep, I agree. DD and I used to watch it avidly, now I find myself getting quite stabby - the whole big eyed, squeaky singsong voice thing is beginning to grate, and the other characters never really get a chance to do anything other than react to Jess. It's not really going anywhere, is it?

No. No. The flatmates are all great characters, better than jess (who is slightly annoying). But I think new girl is a marmite thing.

I love nick too. And winston was really brilliant when he convinced nick about his fond memories of crack.

There's clips on YouTube of Jess and Nick having a very hawt and steamy kiss. Already been shown in US I think.

I just saw the clip, excited to see the episode now! I don't dislike the show by any means, I've watched it from the beginning, just sometimes....it's a tad self indulgent - the zooey deschanel show. I think because her character is basically her, whereas with something like HIMYM it's not all about ted and the other characters are much more well rounded.

They had a mid-season blip I think, with 'wimmin's issues'. The period/fertility episodes gave me the rage. I'm happier now it's less focused on Jess.

I love the games they play on this show. Feely-cup, anyone?

I'm not really enjoying the episodes at the moment. I think the show may have lost its way a d is trying to be too funny. I didn't enjoy the winston and Schmidt crack episode. It was really cringed.

Ididn't enjoy the crack episode either....the only thing keeping me engaged is the Jess/nick chemistry.

Cced has become pretty bland as well.
