Shock

This is a thread for all fans of the weekday soap Doctors, BBC1, 1.45pm. However, it's taking its annual break from 21st June until it returns on 22nd July.

Therefore, us fans are waiting patiently in the virtual waiting room.

  • Mrs T is rearrrrrrrrrrranging the leaflets
  • Zaniel are getting frisky in the cupboard (again)
  • Al is spying on Jas eating her lunch (disclaimer: he may fancy the lunch more than Jas)

So regulars please sign in and take a seat. Newbies very welcome indeed as we plan to keep the thread going by talking drivel throughout the break. 'Tis fun Grin

curlyclaz13 · 22/07/2013 14:15

Damn I was looking forward to a good death, I bow before your superior diagnostic skills msno.

Raahh · 22/07/2013 14:16

Gobby won't leave, she'd miss the gossip.

Now, i can't remember if i watched series 2 of land Girls. I must have cos i can't prize my arse off the sofa at 2.15 but I'm not sure...

toldmywrath · 22/07/2013 18:16

6tl nearly lived up to her name with home visits today. My DS said we'll have to fail to turn up for our appts if it means you get 3 home visits in one day.
Very excited about upcoming baby HRH! Smile Crown

toldmywrath · 22/07/2013 18:17

I meant that she was 3tl today-doh-but you all probs worked it out anyway.

MsNobodyAgain · 22/07/2013 18:23

I'm getting impatient now told. But as we all know, babies can't be rushed.

The last time I had a home visit was nearly 9 years ago after my twins horrific birth. The doctor stood on the doorstep and said "what went wrong eh?"

Bless him. He's retired now. He would have fitted in at The Mill - crazy hair, a bit of a stutter and tweed jackets with elbow patches on. Smile

Nice work Raahh. My bunting is up. I have confused the heck out of DS2 who wanted to know why it was there. He now thinks I have had a baby Grin

i feel all warm and fuzzy probably the shandy

HoggyTruffle · 22/07/2013 21:25

Love the bunting Raahh

DD is also confused with the event MsN. She wants to know how long it takes to get a baby, does the doctor give you one or do you just decide you want one. The sex education at home and school is going well then Grin

ClayDavis · 22/07/2013 21:38

Had forgotten your neighbour had a flag, Raahh. After flag gate on the tennis threads, I'm keeping mine well and truly hidden.

Have now watched today's episode. How long do you think they'll be snow for? Is it like Narnia?

Raahh · 22/07/2013 21:42

ooh - flag-gateGrin

Clay -Letherbridge is exactly like Narnia. We tried to assign narnia characters to the Doctors characters. We didn't get far. Grin

Raahh · 22/07/2013 21:46

I bet DOC is dreading the gun salute thing tomorrow. it's bound to happen, just as she's settled the baby. Grin

bitter experience of bloody New Year fireworks the day I took home ds

curlyclaz13 · 23/07/2013 02:46

lets hope that they don't go home at 1.30 tomorrow otherwise there will be a news special of them on the steps !

AnneEyhtMeyer · 23/07/2013 07:52

Well after being excited about the impending birth I have to admit to feeling a bit underwhelmed when it turned out to be a boy. I really thought it was going to be a girl.

I also a feel a bit sad that once the Queen dies there won't be another Queen for a really long time.

I have cheered myself up though, by imagining the glum looks on Andrew, Beatrice and Eugenie's faces as they bump down the line of succession.

I can't wait for them to announce the name, though. Will be gutted if there isn't a Doctors name in there somewhere.

Totally agree with Curly - she had better time her exit from the hospital not to clash with Doctors!

AlphaBetaOoda · 23/07/2013 08:11

Just watched. Loving them embracing the snow and incorporating it, liked the wtf-ness of the story.

Wish they'd do a royal baby special with Mrs T outside actually bet that's on Xmas

Can I nominate Heston as Aslan for the Narnia/Letherbridge crossover? bet this is the next theme since the scriptwriters seem to lurk here

AlphaBetaOoda · 23/07/2013 08:13

I always get the impression Harry would be quite grateful to bump down the line a bit Anne
