Shock

This is a thread for all fans of the weekday soap Doctors, BBC1, 1.45pm. However, it's taking its annual break from 21st June until it returns on 22nd July.

Therefore, us fans are waiting patiently in the virtual waiting room.

  • Mrs T is rearrrrrrrrrrranging the leaflets
  • Zaniel are getting frisky in the cupboard (again)
  • Al is spying on Jas eating her lunch (disclaimer: he may fancy the lunch more than Jas)

So regulars please sign in and take a seat. Newbies very welcome indeed as we plan to keep the thread going by talking drivel throughout the break. 'Tis fun Grin

Tennis

forget. We will get it back one day.

ClayDavis · 21/07/2013 22:50

Forgot, not forget.

AlphaBetaOoda · 21/07/2013 23:03

curly I had dd3 trained to feed & nap at 1:30 for my Doctors viewing (she also used to do 10am for Homes under the Hammer) but she's now growing out of naps. Mummy's programme is acceptable though.

ClayDavis · 21/07/2013 23:11

Never too early to start training them Grin

MsNobodyAgain · 22/07/2013 07:52

SHE'S IN LABOUR!!!!!

OP posts:
AnneEyhtMeyer · 22/07/2013 07:54

Oh bloody hell, right on cue Kate's gone into labour. She better wait until after Doctors.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 22/07/2013 07:56

Cross posts MsN! As soon as I heard the news my first thought was "Will this mean no Doctors today?". Grin

MsNobodyAgain · 22/07/2013 08:01

So did I!

I'm going to iron my bunting Grin

AlphaBetaOoda · 22/07/2013 08:30

Lol anne is going to be right! they better not cancel it

curlyclaz13 · 22/07/2013 08:49

she won't have it by lunchtime, first babies aren't that quick. Angry

cinnamongreyhound · 22/07/2013 08:56

Typical!! Just seen the news. My first was 33hrs we should be safe Confused

Raahh · 22/07/2013 09:06

I had the oddest dream last night that I was following Carole Middleton around London on a scavenger hunt, and all the things we found were clues about the baby.

we found a weird set of false teeth, on a wireConfused

Then the baby was born, in the back of a taxi, and they called it Christian.

When i woke up, I realised this might be less a nod to 'Pilgrim's progress' and more to do with '50 shades of grey'Grin

Then I got to breakfast club, and dh texted to say she was in labour- and my first thought was not 'hope it's an easy birth' but 'I wonder what they'll say on the Doctor's threadGrin'

AnneEyhtMeyer · 22/07/2013 09:22

I see we have got to the stage of the press interviewing the press on Sky News.

I had a dream last night that she had a girl, so I said to DH this morning "if she has a girl today you heard it here first".

Funny how we all turn to the Doctors thread first in times of national importance! Grin

Raahh · 22/07/2013 10:07

Just seen on the thread about the birth, and someone abbreviated Kate's name to -DOC so we can now officially be the
DOC-tors threadGrin

Raahh · 22/07/2013 10:43

Do you think Mrs T is wearing her posh wig? And a naice hat. Grin

Doctors and a Royal baby, possibly on the same day. Fabulous.

MsNobodyAgain · 22/07/2013 11:09

Crown I'm loving it Crown

Mrs T will be wearing her best wig and bustling around the Mill in anticipation, secretly checking the internet for updates. Then she'll get distracted and Gobby will waltz in shouting "she's 'ad it!"

Should've been a scriptwiter. Missed my calling. Grin

Raahh · 22/07/2013 11:23

MsNo - that would be exactly how it would happen!

Bet Eastenders writers are poised too, so they can add a weird out of place scene about the birth, into a totally unrelated scene.Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 22/07/2013 13:35

Well I am going to be able to watch live after all! However I expect my viewing will be somewhat marred by DD whinging about the TV not being tuned to Disney Junior.

Keep you legs crossed for another 45 minutes, Kate! Crown

Raahh · 22/07/2013 13:40

DD2 is asleep! yay!

(the downside is she will be grouchy on the school run)

The up-side is I can turn off cbeebies with a clear conscienceGrin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 22/07/2013 13:43

I've just bribed DD with a big bowl of ice cream.

There's a useful parenting tip for you, Kate! Crown
