Spartacus box sets, what order?

Hi all

Just got series one, two and the prequel series to get stuck into but I'm slightly confused.

Do I watch the first series or the prequel series first?

Blood and Sand (series 1) first, then Gods of the Arena (prequel) second. It was only made as poor Andy Whitfield was undergoing treatment. .

I love Spartacus, it is very gory though!
