I have read the book and can't decide whether to watch it or not. I've avoided all the previews, reviews etc. don't want to get my hopes up and then be disappointed would rather just not see any of it if it's tripe!

So if you have watched it should I bother, yay or nay!

I watched it and it was quite good, glad I have something to watch on a sunday night as usually I don't like tv apart from homeland and big bang theory.

I loved the books and think the programme was quite good. Not sure I like Jaquetta and Baron Rivers though. I'm going to keep watching as PG played a big role in the production so it can't be too bad.

I hope we get a bit more plot next week. 10 episodes to cover 20 years of The Wars of the Roses isn't a lot really.

I thought it was bait disappointing too. I didn't like the girl who played the white queen, she was too frail looking and not earthy enough. Also did not like her mother at all, not witchy enough.

It just wasn't convincing enough. Also the guy who played the King looked a bit like Prince Wills. Was this intentional?

orangeandemons - I thought he did too (not his fault :) )
