Anyone watching Dates?

Been really gripped by this - watched all 3 episodes yesterday on 4OD - but am baffled in episode 2 as to when Jenny could have nicked her dates wallet? Hope I'm not being totally dense and it's really obvious...!

Hi i watched the first two but wasnt really taken , not sure why, i liked Will Mellor but found his date obnoxious and stereotyped but i guess that was the point. In second I am not sure why Sheridan Smith hung around for so long as her date was vile, loved it when she skipped off down the Tube with his wallet ...she got her revenge whilst on the way out when hewas doing the biz in the loo. Think she was going to run out but when she saw wallet too good an opportunity to miss. Great acting by her. I will watch another but was worried they might be samey.

Ah thanks, must have missed that bit somehow then! I know, I did wonder why she hung around as he was just awful, and yes, that Celeste/Mia character is pretty hard to watch! Will Mellor was very good though, as was Sheridan Smith.

Yes, really enjoying it so far and meant to ask if anyone was watching last week!

I must say it's very nice to have a decent drama that only last 30 minutes, too. Most serial dramas require such an investment of time: good to have something that just 'rounds off' the evening nicely.

Am loving Dates. It's been a while since I was last gripped by a decent drama. Brilliant writing and acting.

The Celeste/Mia character revealed a lot more in the 3rd episode.

C4 website has dating profiles for each of the characters. Looking forward to tonight's episode Smile

Could well have been holly - would make sense.

Did everyone watch it last night? I didn't, so looking forward to catching up.

Just seen a trailer for tonight's show, must remember to watch. Took me a while last week to realise that the doctor was Ben Chaplin from Game On.

ben chaplin looked really old, took me ages to place him. but then i probably don't look like i did when game on was on either...

the girl playing mia is charlie chaplins granddaughter, took me ages to place her too and i'd only caught up with game of thrones the day before!

may be loosing it in old age...

I was completely shocked at Ben Chaplin! Couldn't place him at all. Used to adore him.

Ben Chaplin - I watched this with the vague notion that I knew him from somewhere. Can't believe how the years have flown by.

I love Will Mellor too. Not sure why he went round to Mia's. I was disappointed in his character for that

I actually like Mia, think I'm the only one. Wouldn't want to date her but very watchable character.
Really like how the series works.
