My son (age 10) forces me to watch this, his favourite programme, apart from WWE. Sometimes its good e.g. the non-wedding. Other times I cringe quietly, especially anything to do with the teenager plotlines!

I am noticing that all kinds of seasoned British actors are popping up in it. Angus Deayton yesterday.

I always had a thing for Tom Blush No idea why!

I love how unrealistic it is. If any school had half the shit Waterloo Road foes it would be closed down

hattymattie · 14/06/2013 18:24

It's no good since Grantley disappeared - I think he carried the show.

TwllBach · 14/06/2013 18:26

Tom is my secret crush.

The old series of Waterloo road were the best - they're being repeated on CBS at the moment. Dante and Chlo are my favourite love story EVER GrinGrin

I was a bit under impressed with Angus Deyton last night, I thought he would be really funny, hopefully he's story lines will get a bit juicier .

GW297 · 14/06/2013 18:32

Tom isn't ageing well though.

daftdame · 14/06/2013 18:35

Do you remember 'Teachers' on Channel 4?

I liked that too.

eatyourveg · 14/06/2013 18:54

I bet Lorraine hires Angus Deayton after his supply stint

BTW can't stand the animal rights woman - the quicker she gets found out the better

Chippychop · 14/06/2013 20:10

No me neither, she's out of This Life isn't she. Not sure why Michael is with Jane mulgrew or whatever her name is...

I have the teachers box set

Hmm to having a thing for Michael. Sorry Chippy. Though I've always liked Tom, who isn't much better, agree with whoever said that he isn't ageing well. I remember him from Merlin (not the latest BBC Merlin), I think he played Mordred.

What an odd couple Michael and Christine make.

Animal rights woman will be booted out soon, no doubt. Shocked that it is Anna from This Life, is she playing this sort of bit part nowadays?

Has Grantly gone for good?

It is a load of old rubbish, and worst of all lately, but I watch out of habit.
