Ken Barlow on Corrie

i never watch the soaps but as a child mum always watched Corrie so i know some of the characters.

am i right that this actors been in it since the beginning?

how are they going to (obviously in light of the news) writehim out after all these years?

cos theres that other one that was/is in it thats also been done for indecent stuff?

The two current actors involved in legal proceedings have not been written out, but will not be appearing on screen until their cases have been resolved. Kevin's absence is because he has gone to visit his ailing father in Germany. No storyline explanation for Ken as yet, just not been seen.

The third had left the series some time before any charges were brought.

I remember the guy who played len fairclough back in the 70's was done for child sexual assault and wasnt the guy from red dwarf done for something or other?

Craig Charles was acquitted of rape.

Peter Adamson was also cleared.

I was thinking Andrew Lancelot, who was charged with 5 sexual offences involving children late last year.

Andrew Lancel (Watkinson) has been cleared.

The judgement on Andrew Lancel was odd though, the judge made it clear that he believed some sexual encounter had taken place that the other person was traumatised from.

the comment about Craig Charles is why I worry that there is no anonymity for the accused. He was proven innocent yet the mud still sticks after all this time.
