Friend is 5 ft 11 (and a bit!!) and said he felt incredibly short as all the blokes playing in that Chris Evans golf thing were so tall - all over 6 ft.

DH was saying this evening that footballers - including Beckham and Shearer who I'd always thought of as tall and huge - are actually really slight because they're so fit.

He said he saw a bunch of them in a Manc hotel once and they all looked like schoolboys. (MInd you his eyes are failing )
