I love this film so nostalgic as I went to a red brick Uni in 86 - live the fashion , music and early James McAvoy . Anyone with me ??

I'm watching more because i have just read and loved the book!!!

So far think the book was funnier.....

I read the book first and loved it - was an early David Nicholls fan - way before One Day

Love The Smiths scene

I quite like this film but, with such a great cast (including Rebecca Hall) it just isn't as good as it should be. I can't put my finger on it, it's just a bit disappointing, not a multi watcher IMO. The parents are also great actors although can't precisely remember who they are. James Macavoy's accent is atrocious.
