I was really looking forward to this ... but the gym rape scene had me marching out the room pronto just about when he ripped off her jog pants [not anal, pleeeease..]. I haven't gone back (it's still playing in there).

Soooo violent and scarey! That contraption in the car-boot-guy's mouth

Dh and I are enjoying it.

It's ok. I can't get my knickers in a twist about violence on telly even though I feel like I should sometimes...

I turned it off after 10 minutes.

Oh heck. I've recorded this as the Sunday Times gave it a good review the other week. Not sure I can watch if there are rape scenes

Homeland it ain't!!! No damien lewis. It eas lighter than the reviews suggested, but give it a chance it could get better. V interesting setting in cold war americai had forgotten what a strange time politically the early 80s was to live in but loved the music and high waisted jeans.... Not sure she was a v convincing KGB agent tho....

Blimey ,I thought it was excellent.Took a while to get into it but had me really gripped.Looking forward to next week.

I'm with cobyconnel on this. We thought it was gripping and looking forward to next weeks episode. Think Matthew Rhys is a very good actor.

Keri Russell's outfits could have come out of my own 80s wardrobe - still thought the body tops looked great - wish they'd bring them back - no gaps between top & trousers/skirts just a smooth line.
