Strictly Come Dancing news - some pros leaving, new ones coming in

Don't know if there's already a thread knocking about on MN about Strictly for this year, but just seen on my FB feed that Flavia, Vincent, Aliona and Eric are leaving the show.

Four new dancers coming in. One of them is Iveta!

I'm really going to miss Flavia

I'm not sorry Flavia is going, I don't like her, who is Eric, I can't place him at all, so glad James is staying. I do like Vincent, but was never pushed on Aliona.

i love aliona, such a beautiful dancer so im gutted shes gone. why the hell they dont get rid of anton i dont know

Glad Vincent is going, can't stand his sleaziness, gives me the creeps.

Don't want Flavia to go, she's my favourite, can take or leave Aliona and don't know who Eric is anyway.

Ah Erin, thanks for that girls, I'm sorry to hear she is going, I think she is brilliant and I don't think she ever gets a decent partner, not since Colin anyway.

Yep feel the same about Bruce, it's time he retired, thank goodness for sky+, I x30 through everything he says.

I wonder if Erin will still be coming on to do the pro dances with Anton? Surely she must ? they are pro partners after all.

I'll miss Vincent but not Flavia so much or Aliona at all, tbh.

Brucie and stringy false Tess ruin it for me. Get rid of them and I'd be happy.

Less than 3 months to go. First I thought it was coming earlier and was excited, then realised that it will already be Autumn
Loved Flavia's Argentine Tango and her personality. Vincent was a great dancer too,but his personality made me cringe too.

Not sad to see the back of Vincent with his creepy eyebrow thing or Aliona who always annoyed me beyond reason. Pan will be weeping into his sequins though.

Flavia is lovely, the first time she appeared doing an AT was stunning.

Won't particularly miss any of them - Aliona had far too high an opinion of herself and cane across as smug most of the time, Vincent became a cheap parody of himself, and Erin has been shafted by dodgy partners too much to be considered essential viewing. The only one who'll be a genuine loss is Flavia, but I'm sure she's got other projects in line, and I'm glad to see new blood, especially Iveta - I think she'll be brilliant.

Erin's blog suggests that she will still be associated with SCD, just not coaching a celeb. She is 38 and reasonably recently married, so she might be pg or thinking about it. Ditto Flavia is engaged, so that might be in her mind.

I love the idea of Flavia saying "Right, got me glitter ball, we're leaving!" and dragging Vincent behind her protesting feebly.

i personally think.aliona had good reason to have a high opinion of herself. hers and harrys viennese waltz was stunning, same with her waltz

Arrogance is never attractive and I thought that bar the odd exception, she was not amongst the best Strictly choreographers either. I just didn't like her.

I want to see Matthew back in. Ian too.

I was never keen on Erin. Don't know why.
