I'm not really watching this; it's just on in the background....but in my twilight years I really want a grandchild like the trainee architect chap who is so concerned and so respectful about his Gran - he cycles 10 miles every day to see her!

I know. It's so touching. What a lovely lovely boy. And the cranio-facial surgeon made me well up too. When he was talking about his Dad giving him the car keys and he was saying about it being a transition and now it was time to give back.

I love them all - I love this programme.

bulletproofgerbil · 22/05/2013 21:51

It restores my faith in humanity. I think it really defines what it is to be human.

Hassled · 22/05/2013 21:54

It does, doesn't it? It reassures you that most people, most of the time, are fundamentally nice.

The giggling ice-skaters are cracking me up.

BrokenBananaTantrum · 22/05/2013 21:56

I love this program. Especially nurse Jen but she hasn't been on it much this series. The grandson is a wonderful man. Its making me well up tho :-(

YoniConnect · 22/05/2013 21:56

Oh my goodness, he's talking about his Gran in the past tense....

Me too what a lovely young man.

Smartiepants79 · 22/05/2013 22:02

A lovely episode.
Love Ho.
And the lovely facial surgeon, in tears talking about his Dad getting old.
Good to see doctors being real people.

Twogoodreasons · 22/05/2013 22:04

The final shot of him resting at her feet was beautiful and profoundly moving.

bulletproofgerbil · 23/05/2013 09:07

Twogoodreasons That shot of Ho and his Grandma at the end was one of the most beautiful things I've seen for a long long time. I very rarely cry, but that moved me to tears.

Chopchopbusybusy · 23/05/2013 09:11

The affectionate way Ho talked about his grandmother was just lovely.
