Game of Thrones, anyone enjoyed it?

Have bought the first series after hearing positive things about it. Including Sarah Cox raving about it.

Have watched 2 episodes and so far there has been graphic body dismembering, children murdered, insest and rape and thats not the half of it!

Not sure its my cup of tea. Does it carry on in this vien and will I get into it?

Yes it is very much in that vein! If you don't enjoy sex and violence then it won't be your cup of tea. It is brilliant though.

There's lots of v funny threads about this already- can't remember any titles- have a look in advanced search.

Lots of incest though, weird if you ask me.

I find the pace of the stories keeps you interested though.

You need to pay attention- I got very confused by all the different characters for different families and lands.

Ther are so many dark haired bearded male characters I get confused as to who is a Stark, Lanister or Greyjoy.

Having said that I really enjoyed it- but it is really blood thirsty and full of rape, incest and sex!

Keep going, it gets better and quite addictive. A bit too much of the doggy style in the first series but it settles down. I think it must have been a bid to draw in the punters

There's some real baddies in it!

Unfortunately HBO think they have to tempt in teen males with a dollop of softcore porn most weeks. Nevertheless it's riveting stuff, highly recommended. The books are excellent too.
