What worries me is that the cuts will mean more umities will be condemmed to a future like this. Itakes me sad and mad.

Scunthorpe did lose a lot of steel jobs. The Star male made sure he was the star of the show. Even down to his snip. I believe there are 2 more progs

This is a brilliant programme. The people are likeable, it's not their fault they have to live unlikeable lives and they do their best with what they have available. God forbid if they all moved to the affluent areas to 'improve themselves' as the snooties amongst us assert is the answer. None of us could feel superior if we were all the same. Few of us could cope as as well as the people involved in this programme actually do if we really had to live their lives.

How can you say they are likeable float62? I found it amazing how brazen they all were about the stealing, selling stuff out of backs of cars etc. They didn't give a shit about anyone else and their attitude to police etc was disgusting and the lad that treated his mother like crap at just 15 was awful.

I don't accept that just because you have no money that you have to behave like that, its disgusting.

How can you say it's not their fault. Surely they have a choice whether to rob or get drunk, have fights, have children?

I'm sure their lives are shit and I don't have all the answers before I get flamed.

They may be skint but their does no seem to be any pride or integrity, kids grafiti on walls, and kicking litter about. They don't seem to be asking any effort to get themselves out of tat situation

Utterly disgraceful. Just because you are skint does not mean you have to keep breeding. 21 and 5 kids with 3 different men - outrageous! Never having done a days work and they expect the tax payer to foot the bill for the rest of their lives. Moans when the benefits are stopped yet they have a 50" tv, rent paid and 1600 a month.I for one welcome welfare reforms - long overdue.

No they dont, you can be poor and have pride. Pride about yourself, they way you act, displaying politeness good manners, keeping pride of your home (not graftitying in it, keeping it clean and tidy). Stop blaming others, and taking responsibility,ity for yourself and your actions. My friend comes from a poor village in Ghana, and she was shocked by the behaviour in tb programme. They are very poor in the village, but boy dothey have pride and integrity

The boarded up house where the young girl was living is literally a few metres from where I lived as a kid. The area has deteriorated so badly since then. When we moved there in the 80's it was a low income/first time buyers area but quite nice. The buy to let boom utterly destroyed it as families were pushed out and rented "doss houses" took over. I daren't walk up there after dark now.

I got serious rage listening to a stupid 21 yr old with 5 kids who has her rent paid and gets £1600 a month. Ridiculous doesn't cover it.....
