It's pretty grim isn't it? And it looks like Joe has been shot for desertion

It is grim but it makes me think so much... It stays with me for hours afterwards. One of the most frightening and horrific things I've watched about war all without leaving the village.

I get the impression that loads of storylines are being very subtlety set up for the future, it's very slow burn.
