Anyone else watching it? What is the significance with Claire and the origami? Paper tiger? I know there must be something to it...Wink

Which version?

The original is one of the first 'grown up' programs I remember watching and I really enjoyed it, but haven't felt inspired to watch the US remake yet.

Is it any good? Have they kept the same key dramatic moment?

I'm watching the US version with Kevin Spacey. It is very compelling. I have not seen the original yet.

I know this thread is a month old now, but I am gripped by this. (US version) Kevin Spacey is fantastic, the woman playing his wife is amazing... in fact all the actors are great.

I was also wondering about the significance of the origami, and the homeless people she keeps sort of staring at, the mad old lady in the cemetary also.

Anyone else watched it? I have three more episodes to go - watching it all over one week Smile

What channel is it on?

thepestinthevest · 06/06/2013 20:40

Not watched it yet, but watched the original one on Netflix. Bloomin' marvellous. Might give the Kevin Spacey one a try.

Highly highly recommend both. Same same but different.

The American one is good too, different, as you would expect, but good. KS's wife is played by Robin Wight (once married to Sean Penn): she gives very good icy.

Wasn't there a film called house of cards too?
