This is a thread for all fans of the weekday soap Doctors, BBC1, 1.45pm.

Regulars, please sign in at reception. Mrs T is verrrrrrry insistent. Any newbies that want to join and admit they watch this second rate soap are welcome too. The more the merrier.

So:

  • Zara and Daniel: will they get back together or won't they?
  • TBFE and 6tl: will it happen? If it does, that's going to be a switch off moment for me.
  • The lovely Mrs T and the Rev: Please don't let him be a serial killer.
  • Al, Kev, Jas and Heston: they need some action scriptwriters. Get on the case.
  • Jimmi and FOD: Meh! Couldn't care less really.

Enjoy the banter, it is often better than the programme Grin

Oooo... just seen on fb that episode was directed by Heston, that's where he's been!

Raahh · 18/04/2013 14:41

Aww, Heston directing Mrs T.

She should have been yours, Heston.

Sparklingbrook · 18/04/2013 14:43

Eww Heston directing the nail painting/hair washing?

Raahh · 18/04/2013 14:46

Sparkling- I hadn't thought of thatHmm

Norty Heston.

Oodsigma · 18/04/2013 18:15

Got an image of us all sitting at home watching the TRev wedding in full wedding outfits with hats and drinking champagne and eating canapés. On our own!

Raahh · 18/04/2013 18:44

Ood -me too. I want Doctors themed bunting. Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 18/04/2013 18:56

Haven't seen today's, but I'm already excited about a virtual wedding reception! We could do a Google Hangout so we can all see each other's hats and gossip about the dress!

I got married in Vegas and the ceremony was live on the internet, and there were a couple of parties at home watching us!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 18/04/2013 18:57

Raahh what is Doctors themed bunting? Surgical gloves and elastic bandages?

Raahh · 18/04/2013 19:05

Anne- a Vegas wedding sounds amazing.

yy- Doctors bunting- stethoscopes, gloves, Rrrrred bush tea bags.

Oodsigma · 18/04/2013 19:37

Not in this Doctors. More like tea bags, wine corks and condoms!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 18/04/2013 19:54

How could I have forgotten the rrrred bush! Of course!

Do you think they'll have the reception at the Ikon?

Raahh · 18/04/2013 20:42

Definitely a reception at the icon!
But no merlot- that just causes trouble Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 18/04/2013 20:54

Grin Raahh

AnneEyhtMeyer · 18/04/2013 21:53

Just watched. TRev was brilliant. Zaniel was heartbreaking.

Mrs T looked amazing again. She really is very good looking. Gordon is punching well above his weight!

madhairday · 18/04/2013 23:04

There would have to be some carry on esque happenings at the wedding, I feel. And what about the hen and stag dos? Grin

arf at us all sat there in hats with champers and stethoscope bunting Grin

What's a Google Hangout? Clearly I am not up with the latest social networking enterprise???

madhairday · 18/04/2013 23:06

Or perchance we should set up an MN Doctors FB page, where we can all post photos of our hats and our wedding decor, and simultaneously raise a glass or three and sing along to the theme tune. hmm.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 18/04/2013 23:12

It would inevitably be on one of my work days. I can just imagine it, one of my colleagues saying "Whoknows, why are you taking Tuesday off? Anything special planned?" And me muttering something about a Doctors appointment under my breath. I'd never live it down if they found out.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 19/04/2013 06:22

Madhairday - a Google Hangout is where a group of people can have a discussion (with webcams) over the internet - a bit like on Skype but with a group of people. I did one on Mumsnet a while back.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 19/04/2013 06:24

Who I expect it would also be when DD was meant to be at home, so I would have to ask the school if I could leave her for an extra session and hope they didn't ask why. And I'd have to remember to take my hat off before collecting her.

Raahh · 19/04/2013 08:40

Who- I am giggling at the thought of you taking the day off to watch a Doctors wedding episode.

It'd better happen- I'm all excited now. Grin

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 19/04/2013 10:37

Oh yes, imagine turning up on the school run tipsy on champagne and trailing bunting and being asked why Blush

Raahh · 19/04/2013 13:48

ha ha! Poor Mrs T!Grin
