This is a thread for all fans of the weekday soap Doctors, BBC1, 1.45pm.

Regulars, please sign in at reception. Mrs T is verrrrrrry insistent. Any newbies that want to join and admit they watch this second rate soap are welcome too. The more the merrier.

So:

  • Zara and Daniel: will they get back together or won't they?
  • TBFE and 6tl: will it happen? If it does, that's going to be a switch off moment for me.
  • The lovely Mrs T and the Rev: Please don't let him be a serial killer.
  • Al, Kev, Jas and Heston: they need some action scriptwriters. Get on the case.
  • Jimmi and FOD: Meh! Couldn't care less really.

Enjoy the banter, it is often better than the programme Grin

She's marrying some bloke who has just done 6 years inside for blackmail. Confused

Raahh · 15/04/2013 19:10

There is something really desperate about Katona. Hmm

Raahh · 15/04/2013 19:11

Mrs T and the Rev could get engaged at the top of the tower too.

Actually- he might push her offShock- because he is clearly wrong

I might be over thinking a non-existent episode Grin

toldmywrath · 15/04/2013 19:27

Just caught up, good luck & vibes for you tomorrow MsNo
I like the randomness of the Blackpool tower conversations! I don't like the gaps either in stairs, piers or -was just about to add I don't like the gaps in Kerry katona!
I was nodding off during today's episode, cat fight episode at ours last night.

Oodsigma · 15/04/2013 20:33

raah I so want your episode!

Also a live one centred around Gobbyplod and maybe Heston. Or maybe a live wedding one for the TRev!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 15/04/2013 20:41

Haven't watched yet, but had to join in about Blackpool. I went there once to a wedding. It was an awful wedding, apart from one feature which made it worth going - the bride had a dress on that she had knitted herself. A proper wedding dress, but in hideous greyish wool. It had to be seen to be believed.

I also hate gaps in the planks on piers and on stairs.

Anyway, all this talk of Blackpool is pointless, because as West-Midlanders they would only ever go to Weston-Super-Mare. I think it is the law.

Good luck tomorrow, MsN, we'll all be thinking of you.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 15/04/2013 20:42

I miss Heston too, he seems to have disappeared lately.

cinnamongreyhound · 15/04/2013 23:01

Sorry to hear you're so worried MsNobodyAgain, hope it goes well for you!

I watched fri and today's this evening. Some bits did make me laugh, quite liked the 6tl and Sam flashback bits. Can't believe he did that though, makes me dislike him more!! Glad her and tbfe seem to still be a possibility and really wish Chris would grow up! Seriously, can he expect to tell him mum who she can and can't have a relationship with?

Jimmi p'd me off in today's episode, just because he can't forgive Daniel doesn't mean Zara shouldn't. Quite a few funny bits but very :( patient story. How awful all round! For someone who doesn't need any help Zara is seriuosly using and abusing Daniel! And where is Heston?

You lot have great imaginations!! I've been to Blackpool but it was too windy so the top of the tower was shut to the public. Kerry Katona and Katie price must get tips from each other, surely?

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 15/04/2013 23:31

Just watched today's, what an awful time the family of McFalan had. Quite a heavy storyline.

TBFE is so wooden at the moment, he needs a storyline of his own not just a hanger on to 6TL and the overbearing manager bit is fairly cringeworthy.

I've been discharged early from my jury service (did a case that took 4 days and then sent home, quite a relief as it is a very high court and they get some pretty serious stuff). So back to usual routines tomorrow.

I've never been to Blackpool, it's a long way from Hampshire but I am definitely in the hating gaps in piers brigade, I can't look down at all on them.

Also, hope everything goes Ok tomorrow MsN.

Raahh · 16/04/2013 09:05

Thinking of you today, MsN - hope it goes ok.

I need cheering up today- I seem to be a bit hormonal and have just burst into tears in Asda. I mean, it's a shit Asda, but it doesn't usually make me cryGrin.

So we all need a happy episode, writers, a nice wtf one. With heavy doses of Mrs T and Gobby, and less 6tl. TIA.

Grin
WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 16/04/2013 09:10

hugs for you Raahh, and you MsN.

MsNobodyAgain · 16/04/2013 11:08

Raahh I did that in Sainsburys not so long ago so I know how you feel!

Well, ex didn't turn up at Court - which is bizarre as he brought the case against me Hmm

The judge is giving him one last chance and I'll have to go back in a few weeks.

Thanks for the best wishes, and fingers crossed for a hopefully cheery episode today.

Horsemad · 16/04/2013 11:22

Sorry the court case is delayed MsNo but maybe the ex has decided not to continue? Hope so! Smile

AnneEyhtMeyer · 16/04/2013 11:28

What a palavar, MsN. Hopefully he won't turn up again next time and you can put all this behind you.

Sorry to hear you feel down, Raahh. Sainsbury's this morning made me feel a bit stabby. Maybe it is all supermarkets.

I just watched yesterday's. Please let them stop going on and on about 6tl. Unless it is about her death. Whiny Boy is acting about 12.

Hope today's is a good one. Won't be able to watch it live - never really get the chance to, but will watch it later.

Oodsigma · 16/04/2013 12:00

Grr at the xh MsN does he do it a lot?

MsNobodyAgain · 16/04/2013 12:04

He's known for very sporadic contact with the children and not turning up/being late which is why I eventually stopped contact after 3 years of being messed about.

Seems he has not changed, but it looked good for my case really Smile

Oodsigma · 16/04/2013 13:48

Who's playing the Dad?

MsNobodyAgain · 16/04/2013 13:48

MsNobodyAgain · 16/04/2013 13:50

Don't know Ood

Oh, the mother is sympathetic, not! Hmm

OP posts:
Raahh · 16/04/2013 13:50

MsN- rubbish that you ex didn't show up, and you were stressed for nothing. As you say, it might strengthen your case. We have a friend who's been going through similar for the past 7 years-her ex recently scored a spectacular own goal at court.

Missed the beginning. Are these people related to Al- or is it another home isit episode?

Raahh · 16/04/2013 13:51

home visit

is he there to discuss the sex ?

WhereBeThatBlackbirdTo · 16/04/2013 13:52

I'm back after 3 weeks school hols. I'm completely lost - what's happened between Mrs T and the Rev?

MsNobodyAgain · 16/04/2013 13:53

Thanks. I got the impression Al kind of knew them but not sure Raahh

Yep, the vicar is preparing to get jiggy with it Grin

OP posts:
Raahh · 16/04/2013 13:54

Mrs T and the Rev got it on- they did kissing and everything.

Now they are both agonising over sexGrin

Eh?? Al having sex too????

MsNobodyAgain · 16/04/2013 13:54

Where. They are in lurve! And preparing to take their relationship to the next level.
