Breaking Bad - ideas for something similar please

Hi all,
DH and I are well into the box sets of Breaking Bad we were lent recently. I want to try and get him another box set for his birthday coming up of a different series. Given we like Breaking Bad is there anything else out there we might enjoy watching? Thanks!

Try Southlands. A really good LA cop series.

i am a major BB fan too. we recently discovered Dexter, there are i think 6 seasons of it on netflix. it's about a serial killer who works for the police, he is a blood splatter expert. as a sideline he takes out murderers who have been let off (not gone to prison) so a vigilante :)

BB is great, isn't it.
We also liked Prison Break and 24.
