Yes, it did seem a bit unfinished.

I think they do usually have at least one story that runs through the series and doesn't resolve until the end. Having said that, as far as I remember, there are also usually other, self-contained story lines/ cases which begin and end in each episode, which didn't happen last night certainly.

Oh Bugger. Is it getting repeated later in the week or do I have to go on the bloody awful ITVPlayer website that keeps crashing?

poly, I agree last night's episode seemed to end abruptly and my first thought was it would be continued, but then I realised that they had actually reached the conclusion of the case. Certainly what happened right at the beginning will be carried on in future weeks.

What happened at the beginning will continue in the final (8th) episode. I think it's going to be a fantastic series
