Do you prefer The Middle or Modern Family?

I'm a huge fan of Modern Family but, I just can't get into the Middle. On the other hand, my sister says that The Middle is a much more accurate portrayal of family life and, I only like Modern Family because they are loaded!

Modern Family.
I haven't watched The Middle from the start so don't get as much if the humour. I can and have watched episodes of modern family over and over. It's brilliant.

Modern Family, although I also love The Middle. I can't wait for tomorrow night Smile

I can't decide which character I like best in Modern Family - swaying between Cameron and Phil.

Sue in The Middle is fab.

The Middle is more innocent.
Modern Family and Raising Hope have a few lines where the DC are Hmm and I think "do I have to explain"?

And I like the dad in The Middle Grin

I've only watched The Middle, but I love it. I am Frankie. I have an eenie job and an eenie house.... Sue is wonderful. Can't wait until tomorrow night when it's on again (why DO Sky have to stop half way through showing a new series, so frustrating?!). Must give Modern Family a shot, will keep an eye out for the first series being shown.

Modern Family is amazing. Yet another one that's on Sky so a lot of people cant see it. It's just brilliant. They are the opposite of the family in The Middle. I think.

I love both equally. I watch The Middle with the kids and then they go to bed and I watch Modern Family. Look out for The Neighbours which has just finished here but was the show running between them.

I don't think Modern Family is on late here. I knows nieces watch it and they are 8 and 10. I've never heard of The Neighbours. Will google now.

I watch both and prefer Modern Family but the Middle is very good ,and Axle is brilliant but Brick is a bit irritating .

I really like The Middle especially Sue. I couldn't get into Modern Family and gave up watching it.

I like both but much prefer Modern Family. I can't relate to the family in the Middle as much and the mother grates on me slightly. Phil and Luke reminds me of DP and DS2. DP won't say it directly but he thinks I'm a bit highly strung like Claire. Hmm There's a bit more going on in Modern Family so I definitely prefer that series.

A friend of mine said recently how Claire reminded her of me. I took it as a compliment initially, assuming she meant to look at. Then she told me "yeah, you're a control freak too."

I think Modern Family. The Middle is fine but the jokes aren't laugh out loud funny like Modern Family. Apart from Claire who is an annoying character (sorry clam Grin) and who I also don't think is as good an actor as the others, the characters are hilarious. I think Phil is brilliant and Manny's great too.

I did prefer Modern Family (especially for Haley and Phil)

But The Middle exceeded it when Sue and Carly had their coreographed kung fu fight [bugrin]

Much prefer modern family. I just couldn't warm to the middle. I've been watching modern family from the beginning on Netflix and it has been great from the beginning.

I watched both of this weeks and laughed more at The Middle. I'm finding Claire a bit annoying atm, though I love Phil.
