Dont like his films or anything, although the Olympics thing was brill though.

Just seeing.... he comes across as such a nice friendly down-to-earth person, doesn't he? doesnt seem to have any airs and graces at all.

Liking him for this.

I think he is ace, he is well known locally for being an all round good man. The Olympic opening ceremony was one of my favourite few hours of telly - ever.

I saw him on Jonathon Ross and I thought he came across as a really decent bloke :)

never seen him before being interviewed, really impressed-violent films notwithstanding.

agree, Olympics opening/closing ceremonies classic tv in my lifetime.

he comes across as one of those guys you want to have a drink down the pub with and be all 'blokey' with, IFSWIM

for all his fame and wealth just looks/seems like such a normal guy.

He is known locally for turning up at the Catholic Club with his Oscar in an Asda bag.
