Now, we're in a bit of a dull spell. We need it bringing back to life. Charge the paddles, call 'clear' and mentally zap this soap back to life.

I have watched all week, but with DS1 and his mate and it ruins it with them commenting and laughing about the loo roll.

I haven't seen yesterday's or today's yet. Will watch them later with a glass of wine.

I am hoping that in the two day's I've missed 6tl ad Whiny son have emigrated to Antarctica.

I need wine, as you can see from my errant apostrophe. Am trying to organise DD's birthday party for tomorrow and I have left most of it to the last minute.

Just waiting for DH to to go to bed and leave me in peace to watch Doctors.

I have just switched the tv on, and the 24 hour Grand National pre-amble has started- with Katharine bloody Jenkins singing. She makes me stabby

I liked the bogroll saga. Rev is worrying me-he deffo should go to specsavers, his specs are awful.
Yes, me too Raahh stabby is a good word for it-I'll tell my DD, she feels the same about K bloody J.

I think the race is about 4pm- I'm not really sure. It's one of the days Imiss working- used to love the sweepstake (I always got the one that didn't even get to run)

Our nicknames actually sound like they could be the horses.

First year in ages I haven't had a bet on.

I love the Grand National. I am not venturing into any other threads to admit that though. Scary!

I only place bets for a straight win. I've gone for:
Oscar Time - old pet name
Across the Bay - because of my friend in Aus
Seabass - because it might win
Tea for Three - I have 3 dcs
What A Friend - in honour of a few online people I know
On His Own - because of my ex

I expect to win naff all but I will watch it anyway.

I haven't bet- and have been trying to interest dd1 in picking a horse from the paper. I used to love doing that when I was a kid- always chosen because I like the colour of their shirt

Haven't actually backed any this year (village bookies has closed down!) but I've chosen Chicago Grey, Balthazar King and Harry the Viking.

I knew I wouldn't win. Never mind, me and DD enjoyed it.

Completely agree Horsemad. It was hard to keep track of who was in the lead or still in the race.
