(This is a thread for all fans of the weekday soap Doctors, BBC1, 1.45pm)

Now, we're in a bit of a dull spell. We need it bringing back to life. Charge the paddles, call 'clear' and mentally zap this soap back to life.

Hang in there people. It will get better I may be lying Grin

I have watched all week, but with DS1 and his mate and it ruins it with them commenting and laughing about the loo roll. Angry

AnneEyhtMeyer · 05/04/2013 18:06

I haven't seen yesterday's or today's yet. Will watch them later with a glass of wine.

I am hoping that in the two day's I've missed 6tl ad Whiny son have emigrated to Antarctica.

Oodsigma · 05/04/2013 19:20

Wine might help anne

AnneEyhtMeyer · 05/04/2013 19:34

I need wine, as you can see from my errant apostrophe. Am trying to organise DD's birthday party for tomorrow and I have left most of it to the last minute.

Just waiting for DH to to go to bed and leave me in peace to watch Doctors.

MsNobodyAgain · 06/04/2013 08:17

Spoilers are out Grin and there is a little interview with the lovely Mrs T.

OP posts:
AnneEyhtMeyer · 06/04/2013 09:34

Spoilers look good! More Mrs T and the Rev and the Gobbyplods, got to be an improvement on 6tl and the Whiny Son.

Raahh · 06/04/2013 11:19

ooh- the spoilers do look good.

YY- hopefully, the 6tl/Chris stuff is nearly over and they can take a back seat.or bugger off

cinnamongreyhound · 06/04/2013 12:15

I'm guessing fod has got to get over Freya soon and start dating soon but please no more Kevin!

MsNobodyAgain · 06/04/2013 13:01

I don't mind Kevin but I hate FOD. Had enough of her with the houseminding guinea pig sitting thing.

Kev got a bit miserable so I need someone new to fixate about.

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 06/04/2013 13:04

FOD is annoying, and when did she become Chris's best mate?

Raahh · 06/04/2013 13:27

I have just switched the tv on, and the 24 hour Grand National pre-amble has started- with Katharine bloody Jenkins singing. She makes me stabbyAngry

Sparklingbrook · 06/04/2013 13:43

What time is the actual race?

toldmywrath · 06/04/2013 13:55

Just caught up with TV & thread, welcome to new ladies (or perhaps gents?-who knows)
I liked the bogroll saga. Rev is worrying me-he deffo should go to specsavers, his specs are awful.
Yes, me too Raahh stabby is a good word for it-I'll tell my DD, she feels the same about K bloody J.

Raahh · 06/04/2013 14:00

I think the race is about 4pm- I'm not really sure. It's one of the days Imiss working- used to love the sweepstake (I always got the one that didn't even get to runGrin)

AnneEyhtMeyer · 06/04/2013 14:28

Our nicknames actually sound like they could be the horses.

First year in ages I haven't had a bet on.

toldmywrath · 06/04/2013 14:40

No bet for me either this year-but I fancy the name Weird Al Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 06/04/2013 14:53

Oh I wish I'd put £2 on him each way!

Raahh · 06/04/2013 14:53

'Weird Al'

Brilliant!

MsNobodyAgain · 06/04/2013 15:08

I love the Grand National. I am not venturing into any other threads to admit that though. Scary!

I only place bets for a straight win. I've gone for:
Oscar Time - old pet name
Across the Bay - because of my friend in Aus
Seabass - because it might win
Tea for Three - I have 3 dcs
What A Friend - in honour of a few online people I know Wink
On His Own - because of my ex

I expect to win naff all but I will watch it anyway.

OP posts:
Raahh · 06/04/2013 15:27

Oh, blimey, no- MsNo- don't go on on the other threads. They always go the same way.

I haven't bet- and have been trying to interest dd1 in picking a horse from the paper. I used to love doing that when I was a kid- always chosen because I like the colour of their shirtGrin

I would go for Seabass, because I ate some last night. Grin

MsNobodyAgain · 06/04/2013 15:35

I know Raahh. Shock

Horsemad · 06/04/2013 15:54

Haven't actually backed any this year (village bookies has closed down!) but I've chosen Chicago Grey, Balthazar King and Harry the Viking.

MsNobodyAgain · 06/04/2013 16:37

I knew I wouldn't win. Never mind, me and DD enjoyed it.

OP posts:
Horsemad · 06/04/2013 16:44

I enjoyed it too MsNo but think tv coverage seemed better on the Beeb Sad

MsNobodyAgain · 06/04/2013 16:52

Completely agree Horsemad. It was hard to keep track of who was in the lead or still in the race.
