(This is a thread for all fans of the weekday soap Doctors, BBC1, 1.45pm)

Now, we're in a bit of a dull spell. We need it bringing back to life. Charge the paddles, call 'clear' and mentally zap this soap back to life.

Hang in there people. It will get better I may be lying Grin

I had to record it today - I'll have to watch and delete before DH finds out my sordid daytime watching habits!

I've got no idea who anyone is either getorf. I haven't really watched it for 10 years but it can't be that difficult to pick it up. I'm struggling to sort out which rugged dark-haired chap is which.

And there wasn't so much snogging 10 years ago!

WhereBeThatBlackbirdTo · 28/03/2013 14:36

Oops, sorry getoeuf - happy easter!

MsNobodyAgain · 28/03/2013 14:49

Dark haired chap snogging lady doctor is Daniel.

Dark haired munster lookalike is Howard. Practice Manager. Known as TBFE (the bloke from Emmerdale)

Dark haired weedy bloke is Doctor Jimmi. He has OCD when the scriptwriters can be arsed to remember.

Dark haired fat bloke is Doctor Al. Known on here as Rect-Al as he had an influx of bowel inspections in his early days.

I NEED TO GET A LIFE! Grin

Back to Netflix now. Ashes to Ashes.

Welcome to newbies , hope you enjoyed today's confusion episode.

Love msNs who's who of Doctors Grin have you watched Ashes before? I'm thinking of a rewatch.

WhereBeThatBlackbirdTo · 28/03/2013 15:38

Thanks for the dark-haired explanations, perhaps I'll print it out for reference.

One quick question though - is Daniel married to the one he seems to be having an affair with? I'm very confused by the access talk.

And she seems a right nasty piece of work (as my gran would have said!)

AnneEyhtMeyer · 28/03/2013 16:00

Haven't seen today's yet but am already gutted it is not on tomorrow and Monday.

Where - Daniel was in a relationship with Zara, they had a baby (Joe) through IVF (I think), and then Daniel supposedly got PND. He expressed this by shagging Princess Bubblegum (Nurse Cherry, wife of Dr Jimmi) over the desk in a Merlot O'Clock moment and later shaking baby Joe. Still with me? Zara moved to Bristol for a while and has now returned. They are now obviously trying to make a go of things.

Zara is blunt but brilliant. It was very dull while she was away (real life mat leave).

AnneEyhtMeyer · 28/03/2013 16:03

Oh and welcome Get. It is not necessary to understand what is going on. I often find that the odd occasion I do I don't enjoy it as much. Wink

cinnamongreyhound · 28/03/2013 16:31

Zara is a cow and has lots of issues, poor Daniel :( he really thought things had changed :( Now is the time for him to grow a pair!!!

I would also be mad if dh asked one of my children to do what Sam asked chris to do. Very selfish, was waiting for microphone or hiding police inspector in that bit!

Very strange patient story today!

Sparklingbrook · 28/03/2013 16:41

YY GetOeuf joined the thread. Smile

I am all behind with Doctors but will be catching up later hopefully.

WhoKnowsWhereTheChocolateGoes · 28/03/2013 17:01

I will try and catch up later. Nice to have so many new recruits on the thread!

MsNobodyAgain · 28/03/2013 17:24

Ood I haven't seen Ashes before but so far I prefer Life on Mars.

Just been to see DD in her end of school drama presentation. She got on stage, cried and couldn't deliver a single line. It was awful. I don't know what to say to make it better. And people were staring at her brothers because they have SN and can't stay quiet. Now I am thinking she is embarrassed because I bought them along but I can't hide them away forever can I? I saw the other children sniggering at them. They go to a SN school so they haven't seen them before.

I feel like the worlds worst parent. I really do. Sad
