Now, we're in a bit of a dull spell. We need it bringing back to life. Charge the paddles, call 'clear' and mentally zap this soap back to life.

I would hate to lose the Gobbyplods- but it is true, it's all getting dull

they need a proper storyline- that doesn't involve a) secondment to CID b) kidnapping c) line-dancing.

Sparkling sadly I think you may be right about the Rev. He's obviously not a long-term love interest because he's not on the credits (unless they do a Barry with him, and have him appear occasionally).

I think the Gobbyplods might end up with a relative's teenager staying with them. Won't her niece be starting at Letherbridge Uni in the Autumn?

If they get rid of the Gobbies they will have to put another police character in, if only to make use of the station set! Maybe they'll bring back Ronnie & George and he can start up his solicitor-specialising-in-everything-from-conveyancing-to-murder-whilst-doing-all-the-childcare practice again.

They can't move again or have another disastrous party, could follow them on a weekend away if it was in a letherbridge hotel! They have had some terrible luck with criminals!

Immie and Jack never seem to come back from wherever they are do they? The inherited house storyline still niggles me too.......

Because the gobbyplods inherited that house for no apparent reason cinnamon. We all thought that someone would challenge the inheritence and it would all be a big mistake but nothing happened.

Me too Sparkling the Gobbies will be rolling in cash & why don't their children come back for uni holidays(my lovely ds2 is coming home for Easter tomorrow-his uni is over 200miles from us)

My first boss was the worst eater ever!! Used to dread him coming in and eating while I was there. Dh is very harsh with our eldest (5), think he should come and listen to some of the 8 and 9 year olds I cm eating!

The Rev is listed under recurring cast rather than regular cast on Wiki, along with Barry, Collier etc. Al is listed as regular.

I just thought they had got a break for a change, maybe I watch too much heir hunters. They have loads of stuff they find some random distant relative to give it to.

I agree its odd immy and jack don't come back, don't know any students who don't spend 15-20 weeks of the year at home!

Major coincidence tonight. I subscribed to Netflix and began to watch 'Day of the Triffids' and the Rev is in it playing a doctor.

Now I've embarrassed myself admitting crappy online viewing, I shall retire back to my paused film. Just had to share.

Snowing again here, coming down thick and fast, we're in Hampshire and have escaped the worst of the weather so far this week.

Loads more snow here today (Derbyshire). DH & DD are out in the back garden playing in it while I'm curled up on the sofa with the fire on feeling sorry for myself with my hacking cough and sneezes.

It's my wedding anniversary Easter Sunday- and dh is working the whole weekend- on nights

I prefer it not to be on when dh is home or I just get interrupted! Neither of us work bh so I should think we'll do something

I like the Rev. Not that creepy- I think it's a nice storyline and I love Mrs Tembe anyway as most of you know.
I do find his tenuous connection with the Gobbyplods odd though, and how the hell did he get the job with Gobbyplod's standing in for him in interview?
