(This is a thread for all fans of the weekday soap Doctors, BBC1, 1.45pm)

Now, we're in a bit of a dull spell. We need it bringing back to life. Charge the paddles, call 'clear' and mentally zap this soap back to life.

Hang in there people. It will get better I may be lying Grin

Can I be bothered to re watch it to check out any date on the letter MsNo ? I hadn't thought of that (that he may have written before he broke arm)

MsNobodyAgain · 21/03/2013 19:34

Good grief, don't re-watch. It's bad enough that we watch it ONCE Grin

OP posts:
Oodsigma · 21/03/2013 19:36

Did they say he wrote it( wasn't taking much notice Blush) He had a carer?

MsNobodyAgain · 21/03/2013 19:37

I think we've assumed (and we all know what the saying that goes with assuming...)

OP posts:
AnneEyhtMeyer · 21/03/2013 21:41

Just watched it. Surely this is the beginning of the end for 6tl? Please?

Tomorrow looks good. Well the bit about Mrs T, not 6tl. I think "I painted the eggs" may become the next "I carried a watermelon".

MsNobodyAgain · 22/03/2013 07:28

Grin to sparkling for daring to link to this thread when 2 people had slagged Doctors off on the tv shows you can't bear to watch thread.

I can't imagine we will be getting any new recruits today though.

MsNobodyAgain · 22/03/2013 07:30

No snow. Just windy. Gah! Gotta inch my car outta the garage.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 22/03/2013 08:18

What? Shock Slagging off Doctors? Shock It is must-see TV!

Lots of snow here. DD came running in at 6am wanting to go sledging / make a snowman / have a snowball fight there and then, all at the same time. It actually looks like it is melting now though.

MsNobodyAgain · 22/03/2013 08:22

Aw, bless Dd.

A blizzard now seems to have hit. I can see the boys school getting shut early today.

OP posts:
AnneEyhtMeyer · 22/03/2013 08:33

"Aw bless" wasn't my first thought, MsN!

I'm meant to be going out today but all I want to do is curl up under a duvet. Got the cold / cough virus that's going round, and my pelvic floor is not what it once was. Blush

Sparklingbrook · 22/03/2013 08:59

Grin MsN I thought it was worth a punt. I often wonder if I would watch Doctors if it wasn't for this thread. Grin

No snow here. Hurrah!

Raahh · 22/03/2013 09:09

Very sleet-y here. My car was covered at 3am when dd2 woke me up, and dh got up for work- but fortunately it was raining by then, and melted by 7am. Was coming down again by 7.30 when we left for breakfast club.

One good thing(for me, anyway) - they dcs usually walk to the church for a service on the last day of term. Ds was playing steel pans/singing and I half promised to go. Due to 'adverse weather' it's been cancelled.Grin . I just couldn't face trying to keep dd2 occupied in a packed hall today.

People are slagging off 'Doctors'??ShockGrin

MsNobodyAgain · 22/03/2013 09:17

Copied from other thread:

"Oh god Doctors

I am housebound at the moment and watching Doctors would be the equivalent of listening to a hypnotherapy tape with someone going "you are feeling depressed... your life is empty and desperate... feel the energy draining out through your finger ends...." "

It made me laugh out loud actually. Quite witty!

OP posts:
MsNobodyAgain · 22/03/2013 09:19

Btw Raahh I would have felt exactly the same as you re the cancellation Grin

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 22/03/2013 09:22

I like the assumption that if you are housebound you have to watch Doctors. Smile

Oodsigma · 22/03/2013 09:31

That's how I started watching Blush off sick when pg with dd3. Don't think I'd have carried on without the thread.

Raahh · 22/03/2013 10:09

It is actually a good description. Grin I'm not actually housebound just too lazy to go out

Doctors makes me realise that however bad I think things are, I will never be as miserable as 6tl. And it makes me grateful. Grin

Oodsigma · 22/03/2013 10:17
Grin
Giraffeski · 22/03/2013 10:21

I think mr 6tl dictated the letter to Martha, hence the girly writing.
I can't decide who dunnit any more.

MadHairDay · 22/03/2013 11:31

Yeh, pretty much why I watch Doctors too Wink

How come Sam could use the phone to call TBFE?

Am I seeing plot holes where there are none?

Confused
Raahh · 22/03/2013 11:40

ooh- good spot, re the phonecall mad. Maybe he dialled with his nose? as i imagine Skippy the bush kangaroo would do,if he had mobile access

Oodsigma · 22/03/2013 11:52

TBFE said someone gave him the keys so I assume they also helped give the message. That's why I assumed there was a carer.

Dh reckons Dr Ranj could join Drs as he only does one patient a day and fobs them off to the nurse who sorts them our

Raahh · 22/03/2013 12:05

Nurse Morag does my head in. Actually, the whole programme does- with it's collection of hypochondriac puppets and perma- grinned presenter. Sadly, DD2 is quite fond of it. Sad

Oodsigma · 22/03/2013 12:08

I hate puppet programmes full stop. It upsets dh who loves the muppets.

Oodsigma · 22/03/2013 13:46

Have I missed a bit?
