Let's put it this way Scaevola, it wasn't a free gift with the latest copy of the Beano, it came in a BOX for Chrissake!!!! To afford this ring on Chessy's wage he would have to save up for 10 years at least.

haha I noticed that too...to be fair its a stupid storyline but when you look at the bigger picture it doesn't seem all that bad. I mean this is coming from a street where at least 8 people die a year whether it be murder, a tram hitting them or they develop a exotic disease. Then you have all the robberies, fires, thefts, affairs - you name it it has happened on coronation street. All I know is I would never move to that street!!

Must tell DH about the ring. He never did get around to buying me one.
