I thought the suicidal man was meant to be watched all the time?

If he was being watched all the time how did he manage to cut THAT much and get to the stage he lost consciousness? :(

It was awful, wasn't it? I can't imagine how hard it must be to work in a prison. Those men were so young and just had no hope, tragic.

Haven't watched it. Though I have however done suicide watch and there are different levels depending on risk element.
Some you have to be within a metre of the person at all times, others they have to be within eye sight and others less so I.e cab use bathroom unwatched etc.
But even sat a metre away, if they have a duvet over them its possible. Though where did they get a blade from?

I suppose suicide and self harm is a factor in prison life
