anyone watched Deadwood?

and can I start at episode 2 or will it make no sense? I've been waiting for a copy of the DVD from my online rental store but it hasn't come free yet, and it seems to be on Sky 3 on Freeview but I missed the first one

DH insisted on watching it, but I didnt really like it TBH. v violent

I loved it, very violent & Ian McShane's character in particular is extremely foul-mouthed. Still brilliant though and the actor who plays Seth Bullock - cor blimey!
