Death in Paradise - it's gone but it WILL be back

I've really enjoyed this series along with 8 million others - ok it's a bit cliched but it's perfect, old fashioned, feel good escapist stuff to brighten a dark winter night. I love all the Scandi gore etc but this is light relief

Due to it's high ratings BBC have confirmed a 3rd series to be shown early 2014.

I really liked it too, fun, feel-good TV what's not to love? I thought this second series was better and funnier than the first one as well.

I love it too! Despite the fact that it is very far removed from reality and that fact there hardly ever any black people in the storyline (apart from the police officers) despite based in a black country . Do they only ever investigate murders of white people by white people?!
But yes, totally addictive and perfect for an evening of lazy viewing!

Will miss it,so glad he re-appeared at the end! I must be the only one who loves Camille as well,think she is perfect in that role. Thought Lucy Davis looked ill.

I like Camille too but some of the trousers she wears make her look like she has a cock, which is unfortunate. IIRC Lucy Davis has had kidney problems/transplant

I only got into this half way through this series, I agree it's nice to have something without all the gore/torture/autopsy scenes, glad there will be some more.

And Camille has lovely toned arms, I am a little bit in love with her

Sorry to hear that Lucy Davis has been ill, hope she's on the mend now. Must admit I was also quite shocked at her appearance.

I love the Camille/Richard will they won't they thing, - but if they get together, the series will end so they need to stretch it out a bit longer

IIRC, Lucy Davis has sadly been suffering from an eating disorder, hence her not looking particularly well. Hopefully she is on the mend now.
