I thought Graham was floundering bit Richard could have helped him out!

Maybe Graham fancies him and maybe Richard was doing a Meg Ryan!

highlandcoo · 23/02/2013 09:49

RG was arrogant and deliberately difficult - I thought Graham handled his attitude as well as he could. Didn't really like the way RG wallowed in the adulation at the start either.
I like Graham - he treats his guests with respect while managing to have a laugh and from what I hear he treats the people he works with with respect too.

girliefriend · 23/02/2013 09:57

Yes I thought so to, he annoyed me right from the start with his walk round the audience, it really made me cringe. He could have said something along the lines of 'I don't remember saying that but it sounds about right' rather than 'I have no idea what you are talking about' Angry

So rude and unnecessary. Thought Graham was fab as always Smile

Also I didn't like the way he kept sitting close to the young girl and putting his arm round her, made me feel uncomfortable for her tbh.

AlmostHadItAll · 23/02/2013 09:59

Richard Gere was a right plonker wasn't he? I thought Graham did well just to laugh and get round the awkwardness with his usual humour.

LOVE Graham. Richard, Uuugh Sad

Mrsrobertduvall · 23/02/2013 15:35

Thought the same.
I love Graham Norton, and thought he handled it well.
It was a strange combination of guests...the girl added nothing and John Malkowitch would have been better as the topranking guest.

Richard Tiffany Gere went right down in my estimation.

BiscuitMillionaire · 23/02/2013 15:41

I'm abroad and have just watched the episode with Mark Wahlberg. Now he is a plonker. Derailing Sarah Silverman's funny (and quite vulnerable) story by being a complete arsehole trying to upstage her. He was utter crap in Planet of the Apes too, I remember, as wooden as a plank.

worley · 23/02/2013 15:50

I still have this episode to watch.. but was it the weeks before and it had Jeremy renner on.. he went down in my estimations.. just didn't seem to add anything to the show at all. But may have been hard keeping up with Matt Lucas and gemma arterton though as they seemed to have a lot to say!

hotbot · 23/02/2013 16:03

Glad this thread wax started, agree Tiffany was a knob, gn banked it brilliantly.would have lived o hear more from Minh m who I think is the real star.

hotbot · 23/02/2013 16:04

God, ipad rubbish,
Wax , was
Banked , coped
Inh , John malkovich, sigh.....

youfhearted · 23/02/2013 16:09

i hear you Grin

youfhearted · 23/02/2013 16:10

unhappy that malkovitch was the furthest away, they normally put the comedians at that point.

Pancakeflipper · 23/02/2013 16:17

I thought Graham was brilliant.

Tiffany was just painful to watch. He just screams "love me, I am legend". I bet some of the Graham questions he did know but just didn't want to answer. Most people under 30 must wonder " what was he in???"

I just wanted to listen to John M because he's interesting. And funny.

goldface · 23/02/2013 20:53

glad it wasn't just me!

Mark moron wahlberg was a complete arse last week. I only watched to see Fassy and he barely got a chance to speak. Angry. I hope other talk show hosts learn from this and don't supply him any alcohol in the green room! Poor Graham.
