I seem to be having a drought of tv shows and I need something new to watch. I like sci-fi, and comedies, and some dramas. Shows I like are fringe, dr who, castle, leverage, mock the week, have I got news for you. I don't like dramas that are too dark. I gave up on dexter because I found it too stressful. I'm not big on law & order/csi procedurals. I dont want anything where i have to have seen all of the episodes fir it to make sense unless i can watch it fromvthe beginning. i have sky+ so it's doesn't matter what time it's on. Inspire me!

The New Normal is quite good. Comedy on E4 on Thursday nights, but repeated at some point I'm sure...

I'm quite enjoying "Nashville" as a light relief drama. Doesn't require too much cognitive input, but the story is interesting?

Agree with "The New Normal" it's quite refreshing and feel good. "Modern Family" is a Sky winner too.

"Happy Endings" is being rerun on one of the 4's, that's quite amusing. Are you not at all interested in "Big Bang Theory" or "How I met your Mother"? They are quite easy to dip in and out of without too much character background required.

I missed the first episode, but on Channel 5 there is a new comedy based around a vetinary surgery? Had a few laugh out loud moments.

I love Big Bang, but I've seen all of the episodes - some more than once. I've gotten into how I met your mother. I'll try Nashville and the vet show. When are they on? I tend to record everything so I can ff the ads.
Keep 'em coming. I've got like 40% of my sky+ free!

oh we're huge fans of big bang and modern family in this house

Nashville is More4 - possibly tonight but it's episode four now. Can you get on demand (I'm overseas)?

The Vet on is called Animal Practice - on ch 5 I think.
