...anyone else frustrated at how the tv bigwigs keep cancelling tv shows?

The Fades - fantastic but canned

Heroes - ok it got a bit silly in the last series but canned - no warning

Flashforward - really good, but canned

Alcatraz - canned, I wanted to know what, how and why!

So bloody frustrating.

When I saw this thread I immediately thought of the Fades. Torchwood too, which gives me the arse after they had to whore it out to the US to get it made last time, yet they waste licence fee in utter shite

Yes, I now remember watching first episodes of the Fades, it was really good, - you can get the episodes on iplayer and I wonder whether it is worth rewatching now knowing we will be left in the lurch. There really isnt much worth watching at the moment, so have been rewatching all the Die Hards being shown prior to the new film coming out on Saturday.

Does anyone remember Bodies? I thought that was brilliantly written, was it Jed Mercurio? and well acted, and I never saw the final episode of that either ( and you can't get it on iplayer:()

Being Human has been binned now too. I'm proper gutted.

I can't believe they've cancelled Spartacus. My dd is devastated that they'll be no more icarly and victorious ( I think that's what it's called).

I liked Men in Trees, Anne Heche comedy in Alaska.

Does anyone know if supernatural has been cancelled?

I second bbc survivors I loved it. Would have settled for a one off just to see how they wrapped it up - -and to see max beesley all brooding --

Carnivale was one for me. That was one show that needed to be seen through.

Also devestated that My So-Called Life was only one season.

Oh and Maximum Bob was brilliant but got canned very quickly. Never to be brought out on dvd either
