Loving it. DS2 (8)came down pleading wakefulness and we let him watch for ages with us as we couldn't tear oursleves away.

I love penguins. Have recorded this as both dd and dh want to see it too, but dh is out tonight, and dd is a bit under the weather and went to bed early. So I watched the last ever episode of Lewis

Penguins: spy in the huddle. Was on at 9pm tonight so maybe every Monday? Made by the same people who did Earthflight :) The rock hopper robot pulling the lonely male waiting for his mate was hilarious!

Am unwell and this programme really made me

Robotic penguin cameras, amusing slipping penguins and narration by David Tennant... What more could you ask for?

Just found out about this and watching episode 1 on iPlayer.

Just imagining the threads on Penguinnet - "I come back after 5 months and find my DH has fallen for another woman. I gave the bitch a good slap, but she's still sitting there watching everything we do....."

I love this programme - absolutely brilliant. Can be a bit anxiety inducing though - we sit there shouting 'run, run' when they are trying to dart through the sea lions.

And so touching last night when the chick died and the other female came and put her wing round the mother.

Oh yes, that was a lovely moment, Kurri.

I recorded this as dd is away, but watched it at the time as well. DH was on the computer (gazing at guitars) but kept turning round to watch, and then he'd swing round to the computer again. At one point, I asked why he didn't just sit down and watch it properly, and his answer was "I can't bear it when the chicks are in danger". Awww!
