blimey second from last episode of season three was a KILLER last night. dh and i keep going on about it and can't wait to watch the last episode tonight when dd has gone to bed. Blimey, the closing scene when jesse is walking across the road with a view to shooting the two scumbags when walt suddenly runs over them and then calmly looks up and says RUN, fantastic bloody stuff, LOVE this series :-)

It is fabulous. we are coming to the end of series 4, eeking it out because we don't want it to end!

Blimey indeed.

That's one of my favourite episodes from the whole 5 seasons. There's some really great interplay between all the main characters, particilarly love when Jesse says 'no' to Gus. I'll forgive the huge coincidence of Walt arriving on the scene just in the nick of time.

The last episode has a lot to live up to...

i am on season 4 now, about 4/5 episodes in. dh and i are worrying that we are watching it too quickly and soon it will be over :-( sad that we are. there are so many twists and turns. i could always watch 3 but dh says 2 a night is enough, kill joy. stranger i don't think i have seen a scene yet when jesse says no to gus etc. i'll assume it is something coming up. looking forward to it :D

Slow down wintertime, you're clearly watching them too quickly if you're not noticing all the good stuff! Was talking about the episode you'd just watched - I'd never deliberately drop in a spoiler.

I made 5 seasons last for 2 months, which took a lot of will power, but then my DH wasn't watching along with me and grumbled if I watched more than one at a time.

stranger i can't remember jesse saying no to gus.....what was gus offering...?

It was more of an order than an offer :)

IIRC it's during the big meet after Walt has told Gus about Jesse's plan. Gus thinks he's brokered a deal, Walt just sits there and is totally passive but Jesse has the guts to stand up and say no. Even Mike looked shocked, while the audience does a little cheer.

Anyway, I thought it was a great moment, and potentially has repercussions in series 4 (stop - no spoilers!)

My husband and I love Breaking Bad, still waiting to see Season 5 (I think it is). In fact, we love lots of American series - we sometimes list our Top 10. Sad, but so true.

penny bet you rate 24 :-D dh and i haven't loved anything as much since then until we found BB

The Wire is our top one. The top three are completed with Six Feet Under and The Sapranos. But I also love Treme - the main reason we went to New Orleans last summer. Didn't watch 24, can't remember why not? I could go on forever ... Oz, The Shield, The West Wing, ER, Mad Men, Deadwood, Boardwalk Empire etc...etc..etc
