.........except if you are Nurse Marcus, he's about the only one who has escaped the Corrie Curse i think. I mean if you are a teacher, doctor, policewoman, physio etc you can expect to lose your job sooner rather than later and end up at t'factory or t'caff. Oh no, I've forgetten that annoying fireman, what'sisname? I'm sure he'll be for t'chop before long.

You can however run your own business: Rita, Roy, Audrey etc. Even Dev and Steve are doing OK.

Gingerdodger · 30/01/2013 21:06

There is also a never ending supply of jobs in the Rovers, Roy's Rolls, Dev's shop, the Bistro and Street Cars whenever anyone needs one. No experience required.

All the above businesses also have flats which appear over them whenever required.

Brian seems to be surviving as a headteacher but no idea how, he seems grossly incompetent and unprofessional.

theliverpoolone · 30/01/2013 21:20

Going out with Rob seems a surefire way to get a job - first Eva, who'd never sewn a knicker in her life, and now Tracey Grin

theliverpoolone · 30/01/2013 21:25

Jenna's probably going to end up in packing in Kirsty's job - presumably she's now at home with Ruby as there's no way packing pays enough to pay a childminder. Oops, forgot this is Corrie where childminders are magical 24 hr free services....Grin

Or you could just dip in and out, like Archie the undertaker.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 30/01/2013 21:45

Or Dr Carter.

MortifiedAdams · 30/01/2013 21:48

If all else fails, get in the.factory - evidently anyone can sew.

Im amazed at the amount of own little businesses in one street
A hair salon
A cafe
A Bistro
A pub
A fish&chip shop
A garage
A.butchers
A cab office
A knickerfactory
A bookies
A building merchants

Hmmmm......

MortifiedAdams · 30/01/2013 21:49

Oh, and two corner shops.

Gingerdodger · 30/01/2013 22:04

Don't forget the magically appearing and disappearing kebab shop.

theliverpoolone · 30/01/2013 22:31

Does Michelle's son still work in the kebab shop?

Gingerdodger · 31/01/2013 15:58

Don't know. The kebab shop has disappeared again after being a plot device to get Tracey and Ryan together.

MortifiedAdams · 31/01/2013 20:16

And suddenly Tracy isnt working there anymore though we dont appear to have been told why.
