Crazy Big Bang Theory Scheduling?

Just been watching tonight's episode & was shocked to hear it's going off air "for a short break" while they show new episodes of How I Met Your Mother in the same time slot I mean, wtf? It makes no sense! Can't they just show HIMYM in the slot before or after? So annoying, just when I was getting into this series!

I know.....but what a great episode to end on.

I am a bit Hmm about it being on at 6pm as some of the references are a bit grown up and 9yo DD has taken a liking to watching it.

Kitty most US shows have a mid season break and BBT is no exception. We get it here a short while after it's shown in the US.

I think it's on hiatus in America. It's not on here (Australia) either.

I know but according to IMDB we are three episodes behind anyway! Just frustrating I guess. Agree that the content is a bit adult for teatime - last night's episode was particularly eyebrow-raising! I liked it because I love Amy FF but I can't help wondering if their relationship has run its course?

E4 are going to start showing the new season again from the beginning in that slot so it could be quite a long break

it's supposed to be back on April 4th Hmm
unless they double up on some of the episodes.

The DVD box set is a 12 certificate.

DeafLeopard I have similar problems as my DD (my youngest, year4) has been found watching it with her big brothers. Quite a bit goes over her head (fortunately) but I hope she's not sharing "bat crap crazy" or other choice phrases in the primary playground.

There already was a break over Christmas/NY. Very frustrating to have another.
