No time for waffle.

If you watch Doctors, 1.45pm on BBC1, this is the thread for you! It's so bad, it's good.

Ta but it is hardly worth contributing when it is only on for a week

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 30/01/2013 20:38

I agree MsN, what's on next week?

Raahh · 30/01/2013 20:41

It'll probably be back to repeats of 'place in the country' next week.

Or 'Only Fools and Horses'. From the beginning. Again. Grin

Raahh · 30/01/2013 20:45

I got over excited by 'Moving On' yesterday, because the father from 'The Killing' (series one) was in it. must get out more

Sparklingbrook · 30/01/2013 20:46

Prize for Raahh. I have checked. It is the latter. Sigh. Sad

MsNobodyAgain · 30/01/2013 20:48

Oh dear. It is OFAH. I love it. sparkling is not a fan.

Oh well. We could fill our time with cleaning and yoga instead.

MsNobodyAgain · 30/01/2013 20:49

OP posts:
Raahh · 30/01/2013 20:49

How many times can they keep repeating OFAH?

I'm going to complain....

maybe

Raahh · 30/01/2013 20:50

It's a conspiracy to make me get a job.

Sparklingbrook · 30/01/2013 20:50

Well it's the first of 17 so that's three and a bit weeks of it. Oooh I hope it's the 'hilarious' chandelier episode or the one where DelBoy falls through the bar. I will split my sides laughing Hmm Oh, or Batman and Robin. Sad

MsNobodyAgain · 30/01/2013 20:53

I love AFAH, and Carry On films and all silly stuff I shouldn't laugh at but I do. Each to their own.

We don't fall out about this kind of thing on here though do we?

OP posts:
Raahh · 30/01/2013 20:56

Ms - of course notGrin

just means I have to find the remote and turnover...

lazy cow

Sparklingbrook · 30/01/2013 20:57

No we don't MsN. My favourite comedies include Bottom so I am not one to talk TBH. Grin

Feel free to start an OFAH thread. Grin

Raahh · 30/01/2013 21:00

See, I love Miranda.

On MN, this makes me a pariah Grin

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 30/01/2013 21:06

I watched the first 10 mins of Moving On then forced myself to go and do stuff instead. Seemed good though.

I'm with Raah on OFAH, it's ok, sort of, if it was on at someone else's house and I had to watch it I wouldn't mind but wouldn't bother on my own account. I don't like Carry On films or Bottom either. But definitely not going to fall out about it or the fact that I seem to be the only person on this thread that can't stand Mrs Tembe

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 30/01/2013 21:08

X-posted, never seen Miranda apart from her part on the Queen's Jubilee Concert which was toe-curling and hasn't made me want to watch her. But all my friends seem to love her.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 30/01/2013 21:20

Does anyone watch Neighbours? I have a hopeless addiction despite knowing that it is utter crap.

If you do, do you think Harley looks like a very young Patrick Swayze? Or is it just me? Or am I the only one watching?

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 30/01/2013 21:42

I've dipped in and out of Neighbours over the years, did watch it long term about 20 years ago but not watched regularly since mat. leaves (the last was 7 years ago). Corrie is my number one soap.

MsNobodyAgain · 31/01/2013 01:28

Raahh don't get a job. Stay with me on the darkside. School run, waft duster in general direction of living room, load dishwasher, sit down.

Warning: the above may not pay your bills.

And can someone get DS2 to sleep. I will pay in rainbows and gold encrusted unicorns. Grin

Anne..
I love neighbours. I have watched it for as long as I can remember.
Paul is my favourite character.. He never changes. Even after having the brain tumour removed and becoming 'nice Paul'.
I suppose Harley does look a bit like a young Patrick, although a bit on the skinny side..

So, doctors. I don't get why 6tl is always so horrible to Chris. Is it because he's a nurse and not a doctor? It seems more than that. I'm not liking the whole crippled husband story line. At first it seemed as though she was single, then they threw in the elaborate bike crash/TBFE affair and now they're going to kill him off.
Sorry for rambling, had a bit of a sky+ fest today and caught up. (and ds2 doesn't want to sleep so I'm trying to keep myself awake)

AnneEyhtMeyer · 31/01/2013 06:52

I love Paul, too, Ready! He's brilliant. I've been watching since the beginning and remember when he was an air steward! How many wives has he had??

As for 6tl, well when she first started and Heston asked her out she did say then she was married but just didn't wear a ring, but I have to admit I just thought she was giving him the brush off.

Her relationship with Chris is just broken, isn't it? I'm guessing she didn't have time for him when younger and now he feels she thinks he's not good enough. It is very sad.

MsNobodyAgain · 31/01/2013 09:30

Random aside. My poor Jezza, JK, Jeremy Vile Kyle. He's been ill. I want to mop his fevered brow.

Sad
OP posts:
readyforno2 · 31/01/2013 10:59

I know poor JK. Hoping he's better soon.

Yeah I thought she was just giving Heston the brush off, then never thought any more about it. I feel a bit sorry for Chris but want to give him a shake.

Sparklingbrook · 31/01/2013 11:56

Pub lunch again today. Becoming a habit. Sky Plus set. Smile
