The Mail is trying to create a fuss about a repeat episode of this which apparently included a character dressing up in a manner similar to Jimmy Savile. Some of the commenters on the online report are suggesting the fuss could be generated from MN, but I'm glad to note that that doesn't seem to be the case, unless I'm missing something?

TBH, it just looks like the Mail on its everlasting boring anti BBC campaign, bolstered by a couple of silly comments on Twitter.

I happened across that this morning. I did think it was a bit odd to still show the episode, but only in a vague sort of way. Just as I wouldn't exepct his TOTPs episodes to be getting many re-runds these days. If I had been arsed more publicly spirited I might have dropped the BBC some sort of note to say that they might want to take that one off the repeat file, but generally meh.

It was a mistake. Mistakes happen. They have apologised and said it won't be shown again so that should be enough.
